We are opening a showroom in Manhattan and we need to hire an additional sales person to work in the store 3 and a half days a week (including one week end day); availability for 2 more days during the week is required to prospect for customers from home, increasing your sales volume, allowing for follow up on quotes. There will only be only one sales person at a time in the store every day to handle all walk-ins and customers until store’s needs are assessed to require more and you become overwhelmed.

The potential in sales is unlimited as you may prospect (on top of store walk-ins and with our help) large accounts such as real estate and hotel developers, referring agents, architects… Our pricing is one of the lowest in the country and allows for very easy sales and a scope of customers way beyond the local market.

You need to have experience in retail and on-the-field sales, be very driven and an organized and respectfully pushy sales person. Multiple languages a must.

You are paid on a commission basis only (3% of all net sales) but have a minimum guaranteed of $3,000 per month (gross amount paid as independent contractor).

The Miami store, as a reference, has a steady flow of customers ensuring, by itself, an average income per sales person typically over $4,500 per month thanks to traffic and depending on their skills. Anything above will depend on your prospecting skills and motivation as well as dedication to the product and company.

This is not a typical 3rd job as a commissioned sales person in a clothing store… this requires full dedication and availability during the week and motivation to transform walk ins into large orders and to prospect for new partnerships and clients. A pre-established network in the real estate, design and construction industries is a big plus.
